KI 2014

We will be having another Reconciliation Exchange in the summer of 2014!

The youth of Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug (KI) First Nation and Productions Cazabon are collaborating with organizations across Canada to coordinate the 2014 Northern Reconciliation Exchange. We invite you to join the experience.  It is our hope that this event will build on the success of last years exchange.  Through this event Productions Cazabon and the youth aspire to revitalize the KI community, promote reconciliation, promote cultural resurgence and form new connections between KI and the general Canadian public.

This is an exciting time of year for the community of KI and the event will take place during “Homecoming”.  Homecoming is when not only the community gets together but also the surrounding remote communities around northern Ontario come into K.I. to stay for a four day stay. We want to take this next Reconciliation Exchange to a place where the Exchange guests connect not only with the community members but with the people in the surrounding communities.

This years event is sure to be a great experience and will leave a lasting impression on anyone who participates. As the KI youth have said, “we are excited to be going into this Exchange again and share with our guests why we love our People, our home, our waters, our land and our way of life.”
